Between how people look at Katrina refugees as well as how Texas look at Louisiana, a lot can be said. Were any Louisiana natives offended by the way the Voodoo character was portrayed in a Texas based show?

I thought his character was very anti climatic and made no sense. It’s like they cut him from the show before his character had a chance to develop.

Did Buddy keep taking care of his family after his tirade with Coach Taylor?

No. The actor (and Kevin Bacon) are great in City on a Hill.

Who's in the pilot of FNL? Mack Brown
Shortly before the series aired, who is spurned by a 5 star QB with a shaky reputation and a high level of on/off the field cockiness and ultimately didn't buy that Texas bullshite and just wanted to get his arse to LSU? Mack Brown
Voodoo is Ryan Perrilloux

They definitely do some lazy ripped from the headlines stuff.

Look at the names Wade Aikman and JD McCoy for example (although they aren’t similar to Troy or Colt personality wise).

Or how Jason Street finds a wheelchair rugby league in what is essentially Odessa, Texas.

Mike Leach is in the series too trying to get Coach Taylor to bring out his inner pirate.

1. Whatever happened to that hispanic, Sandman? He just disappeared.

2. What happened to Lyla’s Christian talk boyfriend and why did she go from being a Christian to a hoe again?

3. JD McCoy and his dad disappeared the final season (JDs Jr. season). Did he change schools or something?
So many questions unanswered but still a great series.

The fricking Euphoria guys wrote a nude scene for her in her first scene on the show but she asked them to get rid of it and they did.
But props to them for trying.

There was a strike on set and his character got lost in all of that. I think they had more plot lines for him.

The first season came out in Year 1 of the Payton/Brees era, so I like the scene in the midseason where Riggins tells his brother - the Cowboys suck. Might start rooting for the Saints

FNL was a great show but they did have a tendency to throw in random story lines out of nowhere.

Best example was having Landry kill a dude.

I never watched it until last summer and I binged it and that was the most random surprising thing in the show. Also it was funny watching it after Breaking Bad and seeing Landry as a bad guy in another show.

The show definitely tried to touch on issues at the time.

That was during the writer's strike in Season 2 and they hired soap opera hacks and went sensational to get viewers as the show was about to get cancelled.
