Marty Funkhouser is an underrated character

The Funk Man is amazing. When he tells Larry he is an orphan.

I also lose it every time he is walking up the stairs to tell Larry, Jeff and Leon he is getting a divorce and says "guess who is getting a divorce? Martin Norton Funkhouser" Some reason that gets me every single time. Just the way he delivers lines and his voice.

I want to believe Seinfeld never heard that joke and that's his legit reaction

Funkhouser and Ted Danson were the characters I always looked forward to seeing.

"If Rabin can break bread with Arafat, I can have chicken at this antisemitic shithole"

I like when he won't let larry sit with him at the dodgers game.


That whole episode is classic

He's responsible for my favorite scenes in the series.

After Larry rips his yamaka off and the hot waitress at the palestinian chicken place asks if he's a jew even though he ripped the other man's jew hat off, Larry responds:

Big. Big Jew. My name's Laeb. Son of Nat.

Funk or Leon

One of this linked videos on that one was this where Bob Einstein (The Funk Man) tells a joke at one of those cast panels. Pretty hilarious.

Leon's "Get in that arse, Larry" speech will always make me laugh.
