Merely lamenting the current state.
I love this movie. I remember 1980 and when they won. Thr film really does a good job capturing the overall context of the USA at the time.

My work mentor, a senior VP, asked me to do Quality Moment for his quarterly full staff meeting.
At the time there was a lot of infighting and finger pointing internally between divisions.
I used that scene as the theme for my presentation, showing the full scene as the intro to my speech.
When it was finished, I drew parallels between our company and the hockey team’s situation.
At the end of the presentation I got a standing ovation. One of the coolest moments of my professional career so far.
Awesome movie.
