New Guy Ritchie series coming the end of this month to Paramount+ starring Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan & Helen Mirren.

With Ritchie at the helm and this cast, has to be good.

Ugh that accent is going to kill me.

And I'm not talking about Tom Hardy for once.

The only words I understood without CC were Pierce Brosnan.

Trailer made me think it was a Martin Scorsese movie with the music.

I thought the same about Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and it sucked. I'll definitely give this a try, though. He's earned that.

This was supposed to have been a Ray Donovan spinoff as an origin story. Not sure why the scrapped that, but good 1st ep.

I mean I see the parallels. Harry is basically an English version of Ray Donovan but I am curious how they would spin this one off?? What's the connection supposed to be?

Very happy to have this dropping on Sunday nights. White Lotus ending will leave a big hole in our schedule.

And yeah, this series is packed with talent and great writing.

Harry's hospital monologue was up there with Nicky's promise/explanation to the banker in Casino.

It was pitched & began as The Donovans, but thru production it was reworked into Mobland. I assume Guy Ritchie's involvement may have had something to do with it.

It's a good show but I'd have preferred a Donovan origin story over a modern day London's version of the Hatfield & McCoys
