My wife isn’t huge into horror, but our daughter was born in October so I now am making her watch Halloween movies.

Recommendations to start? Can be classic black and white or modern.

I try to watch Clue every year.

It’s only about 90 minutes.

How old is your daughter?

Not a horror, but Arsenic and Old Lace is fun slapstick for a Halloween movie that maybe your wife would also enjoy.

Hubie Halloween with the family.

Sleepy Hollow while I decorate the house because I go with a creepy steampunk vibe and it suits the mood.

All the Roseanne Halloween episodes the week prior.

Charlie Brown during T-O-T

Halloween (1978) late on Halloween night after T-O-T is done.

First off, just a well done movie, great movie actually, really for everyone and a ghost story. About the best entry you can ease into Halloween movies before you go full shock or slasher.

Everyone needs to see Smile from last year. Part 2 is coming out in two weeks

Low budget and creepy AF. Lots of jump scares. Whole family loved it

My personal favorite and the one that women and kids love!

Add to the Halloweentown and you're done.
