I really enjoy this series. Lots of interesting history, especially military (WWII mostly). I have to say though, I can’t help but get distracted (in a WTF kinda way) when the military historian Lynette Nusbacher appears on screen. Creepy.

She's not a handsome woman.
But the stories are interesting. I think it's just a rebranded "Mysteries at the Museum" in a lot of episodes. Don Wildman even says that.
We watch it pretty regularly.

Yeah, I agree.

i enjoy that and What On Earth on the Sci channel. Good background shows that usually have at least one or two interesting factoids.
Agree on Lynette. Get an odd vibe there.

Lynette Nusbacher was born Aryeh Judah Schoen Nusbacher – the origin of this name is unknown – on 17 December 1966, in New York City USA so under the zodiac sign of Sagittarius and holding American nationality – although born male, Aryeh changed gender to female and name to Lynette, so we will address Lynette as a ‘she’.

She’s very good, but every time she’s on screen I’m like ...

Both of those shows are interesting. But both of them take about 42 minutes to cover about 17 mins of stuff. A lot of repetitive stuff and unimportant things that keep being mentioned.

I like it. It's not as good as some of their other Ancient Alien type shows (which feature a lot of the same "experts"), but it's interesting.

I like the show a lot, but Lynette always speaks like she's either manic or about to stab somebody

Aryeh Nusbacher was featured on a few military history shows about a decade ago. They still air from time to time.
He/She has always been a little odd.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I never knew if it was the same person with a sex change or they were brother and sister
