I have not watched any of the NCIS shows.

“Cancelled” implies forced off the air due to low ratings. I thought all those NCIS shows did well in terms of ratings?

I am not sure about New Orleans and Los Angeles but the linked article said this:

quote:

It (NCIS) also ranks as the most watched series on television, with more than 15 million total viewers. NCIS is also the No. 1 global TV series in the world, having been syndicated both domestically and internationally, where it is licensed in more than 200 countries and territories.

Latoya probably made it too difficult to film here

ETA: they also had some issues where they didn’t get permits. One time the actual cops showed up guns drawn at a bank Robert scene because someone called the police from across the street.

NCIS: Hawaii

I long for the Hawaii Five-0 crossover.

Never mind, I see that show finished last year.

I think the point blank matter is that NCIS: New Orleans never found the characters that connected with audience like the OG did...Pride was no Gibbs and New Orleans never found their Abby, Magee, or Dinozzo.

Only thought it had been on for three or four seasons. Guess that's what happens when you hear about it coming out, but never watch.

My wife and I watched NCIS New Orleans from the beginning, but the show this year was so bad that we just quit watching.

It got a 7 year run, but it is time for it to end.

For a pretty formulaic 7 year show they've cycled through actors way too much.

Exactly. Losing Shalita Grant was a blow. Vanessa Ferlito didn't make a good replacement. Losing Lucas Black was probably the beginning of the end.

Moving Sebastian out of the lab and into the field as an agent messed up his character, and then bringing in Hannah and Carter just puts too many people in the squadron.

NCIS:LA is doing the same thing by adding Fatima and Roundtree.

Memaw was already watching Tucker Carlson and Hannity every weeknight. CBS is losing its audience to Fox News.

In the last two years, it went full SJW.

That ignorant black activist b!tch on the Mayor's Commission that they tried to make into some sort of martyr/hero was the last straw.

November of '19 watched an episode for the first time in a few season, and his character died.

Yes he was the one that I think people enjoyed on a level close to the characters in the original.

In Scott Bakula's "New Orleans accent," "Well I do de-clay-uh"

Never ever have I watched an episode of these CBS shows, because the ads during games were enough to drive me away. My parents love those crappy shows though.

COVID wiped out a significant number of CBS's audience.

Magnum P.I. crossover incoming.

Typical network television. Cancel one spinoff due to whatever and replace it another spinoff of the same show. I will admit I catch myself watching these shows more times than not, makes for good hunting club television
