Somehow, I came across this trailer for "The Surfer" staring Nic Cage.
I really couldn't tell if this was an AI bullshite trailer, or an actual Nic Cage movie. Well, it's listed on his IMDB, so it must be real, right?
Look at upcoming movies and see this gem:
Lords of War the sequel we didn't know we needed.
Yuri Orlov, the world's most famous arms dealer, discovers that he has a son, Anton who is trying to outdo his father by raising an army of mercenaries to fight in America's Middle Eastern conflicts, triggering a father-son rivalry.
Madden
After being forced into retirement by the Oakland Raiders, fiery former NFL head coach John Madden teams up with a mild-mannered Harvard programmer to rewrite his fading legacy by building the world's first football video game.
Yes, Nic Cage will play John Madden in a movie about making the Madden video game.

He has never met a script that he didn't like.

Premiered at Sundance to positive reviews. I’ve been a big fan of Cage’s weird movies from the last 5 years or so. Color Out of Space, Pig, Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, his role in Longlegs. I’ll give this one a chance.

He has a lot of underrated movies. Many of his movies as of late have been good.

The premise for Madden is complete BS

Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent is one of my favorite movies from Cage.
