You may want to set your DVR. Good 80s flick directed by Ron Howard. I want to say its his first as full length movie director but if not it is his first to put him on the map as a serious director.
Henry Winkler breaks his Fonzi type cast. Michael Keaton steals the movie coming from stand up comedian to actor. Probably one of the more underrated movies of the 80s coming on TCM at 1am.

First DVD I ever owned, circa 2003-2004. I still have it.

Such a good movie. Shelley long cooking was a childhood memory I still hold close.

Shelly Long was right in her prime wheel house during that time. Caveman, Night Shift, Losin' It ... yes please.

Thunder Road (1958) airs at 11 pm Central. Robert Mitchum doing badarse Robert Mitchum things as a Korean War vet returning to his moonshine running family just as the mob is trying to take control.
Who knew a 57 Ford's hood opened backwards?

I can't lie. Everytime I see a guy with a sax busking on the subway I think of this movie and laugh. That and rewinding the tape "to SHUT UP!"..."to SHUT UP!".

Why don't we feed mayonnaise to the tuna?

She filled those striped (I think) panties out well.
