Nobody Wants This - Netflix series starring Kristen Bell & Adam Brody

It's a Rom-Com so I know a lot of people aren't generally into that sorta thing, but it's a great show. A friend of mine just told me about it, and I finished Season 1 in less than 24 hours.
Based on the real life of the writer, Erin Foster, Kristen Bell is an agnostic podcaster with her sister (Justine Lupe from Successions) focused on sex. She forms a relationship with a unconventional Jewish Rabbi who is on the path to soon becoming the head Rabbi at his temple - but can't really do it while dating a shiksa.
Great cast, including Jonah Ryan (Timothy Simons) from VEEP. He's basically the same character and is hilarious.
94% on Rotten Tomatoes and just renewed for Season 2. Nominated for Best TV Series - Musical or Comedy, along with Best Actor and Actress for Bell and Brody.

Where have you been?

My wife binged it in a day and then begged/forced me to watch it with her.
It was enjoyable, albeit predictable.

I really enjoyed it. My only issue is in making him a very liberal Jew. It was strange to see a Rabbi priest who could sleep around with zero internal turmoil about it. There really wasn't a conflict between their worldviews it was just all about what others would think about him dating a non-jew. I guess that would have cut into the lightheartedness of the show but I think it would have been more interesting.

It was a really good show. Between that, “man on the inside” and that Shane Gillis show, Netflix has done damn well on sitcoms
recently.
recently.

I watched the trailer. Did Kristen Bell do some shite to her face?

I’m enjoying it so far. It’s definitely brain candy, but I find myself rooting for them to make it.

I posted in the original thread for this show that she is on the very edge of having too much work done. Quickly approaching uncanny valley territory.

Agree.
She was peak version of "cute hot" for a while too. Like in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Smoke.

It's the Botox. A lot of women have the opinion that getting routinely insane amounts of Botox injections around their eyes and forehead to remove wrinkles is not plastic surgery.
They all end up with the same perfectly round, firm, shiny forehead. It's way too prevalent, even in southern woman. It's so bad young sorority girls are routinely getting injections and getting the same look.

She definitly has, but I dont think she’s gone over the edge yet.
I also found it wild that Lindsey Lohan has somehow come out the other side of the Valley hotter.

Couldn’t tell if this was the title or the review.
