Original British “Ghosts” series taking over US version during writers strike

I’ve been streaming it on MAX and noticed they pulled it from their catalog this past week. Did some research and apparently CBS will be showing the original British version soon in the place of the US versions time slot. The BBC version is far superior.
I’m guessing the strike is why CBS will also be airing Yellowstone.

I really like the BBC version. I like the US version just fine...but I'm looking forward to the change.

Yeah, I finished Season 3 on Max this month. BBC announced this summer they are ending it Season 5. Have to find Season 4 some how.

I feel like the last season of British Ghosts was a while ago. It’s funnier than the American version, though the American version was surprisingly good.

Found in a USA Today article: “CBS' hit comedy "Ghosts" will continue to air in repeats on Thursdays following "Young Sheldon." But fans can see the original British version of the comedy starting at 9 EST/PST, starting Nov. 16.”
I was clicking around on the cast and discovered most of the ghost characters have acted together on another BBC comedy show “Horrible Histories”. Similar to Mel Brooks’ “History of the World”. The whole cast has great chemistry together.

It can be found on the French video streaming site DailyMotion. We installed the app on our FireTV stick, but haven't finished the season. Have a few eps left.

Watched the British version a few years ago. Couldn't watch the American version once it aired. Just not as funny as the Brits

According to something that came up in my news feed, the BBC Ghosts S1-3 was just dropped from Max.
