Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta coming to Amazon this year

I saw recently that Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis are set to executive produce and star in an Amazon series based on Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta book series.
I've been a Cornwell fan for probably 20+ years and have read most of the Scarpetta books (Scarpetta is an ME married to an FBI profiler and her autopsies help solve crimes). Just not sure how well the stories will translate to the screen - unless each case spans several episodes.

I really hope they do this well. Towards the end of the series, it fell off a little, like all long book series do. But I really loved most of her books.
