poor Ernie Hudson. I bet he cries in his trailer a lot.

Ernie Hudson, known for the Ghostbusters movies, is playing Herbert “Magic” Williams, a Vietnam veteran and head of the time travel project at Quantum Leap who using a bit of politicking and his military know-how to keep the Pentagon at bay, buys the team some time to rescue Ben but expects answers once he’s back.
Nanrisa Lee is playing Jenn the head of security at Quantum Leap headquarters.
Mason Alexander Park is playing the non-binary character Ian, the chief architect of Quantum Leap’s AI program.
Caitlin Bassett is playing Addison, the project lead at Quantum Leap HQ who operates state-of-the-art technology to communicate with an individual time traveling in the past.

Finally something new and original. Diverse AND non-binary.

No Gooshie?
So it's a reboot not a sequel?

Sounds more like a multiple personality crisis than an identity one. How many of them are there?

i’m still trying to figure out how Susan Dey manages to look so young

Just make good television, goddamn. Any time a cast mentions being "diverse", I automatically assume it sucks.

Patiently waiting on the "I'm retarded?" episode.

Fact check: Ernie is pushing 80.

Ernie Hudson's "Magic" character is a throwback to a person Sam leaped into to save his brother in Vietnam.

Man. I wish they would have just given the original a good ending. Knowing he never made it back home is sad.
