Right order and the only ones that were worth watching.

Not a movie but my favorite interpretation might be the BBC show that ran from 2006-2009.

So this is worth checking out? Strong through the end? I’m intrigued.

Season 3 is weak. 1 and 2 is solid. I'd give it like a 7.8/10. It's also been 10 years since I've watched it. Richard Armitage as Guy of Gisbourne is excellent. I believe this role is why Jackson picked him to play Thorin in the Hobbit trilogy. The girl who plays Marian is good as well. She isn't just a damsel in distress. Her and Robin together plan many of their operations.

I thought the Russell Crowe version was head and shoulders better than any of the others that I have seen.

In a world where I hate seeing the constant reboots, there is space here for a good reboot. The last several have been absolute trash and unworthy of the Robin Hood name.

Brings me to a question for the group -

Pair your perfect director/lead actor for a Robin Hood movie...

What about a more comedic one, but still good action ala Iron Man 1, with Jon Favreau and Tom Hiddleston?

This is just like picking the NBA's all time greatest player. There's the 1938 Robin Hood, and there's Michael Jordan.

I've seen all of the others, and they don't compare. I never watched any of them and then felt like going home and emulating them. I did go try to be Michael Jordan, and Errol Flynn's Robin Hood.

The original stealth warrior.

My personal favorite. Nicol Williamson as Little John was perfection. And let's not forget the great Richard Harris!

Whichever one where Alan Rickman "canceled Christmas", just for that line alone.

I'd place Connery over Costner but, otherwise, agree with your list.

We watched the animated Robin Hood a hundred times with my kids when they were growing up. Loved it every time. Phil Harris was the greatest voice actor in the Disney stable.

My boys are 5 and 3, Disney's Robin Hood is on at least once a week at our house

That Robin Hood movie with Jamie Fox was an experience

They were like, what if we combined Gangs of New York, Batman, Black Hawk Down, and Robin Hood by juxtaposing the Merry Men with Occupy Wall Street and making Nottingham a combination of Rome and 19th century industrial company town?

That movie is just insane.

The Russel Crowe one isn’t great, but I found it wasn’t bad either. It was just alright. I liked the idea of tying in the Robin Hood story to the creation of the Magna Carta and the incompetent British ruler being manipulated by a plot for a French invasion. It was pure historical fantasy, but an interesting take.

The best Robin Hood is “Men in Tights”, and it’s not particularly close.

Wasn't great, but also wasn't bad. The way it was set-up, I was expecting them to have a sequel, or make a trilogy.

My list:
1) Robin Hood: Men in Tights
2) Disney's Robin Hood (1973 Animated)
3) Robin Hood: Price of Thieves (The Costner one)
4) RH: Crowe
5) RH: Fox

Never saw: The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) or Robin and Marian (1976: Connery)
