There are a lot of scenes where he almost comes off as autistic and I can't tell if it's intended for the character or just his acting.

Well that's murder, and it's not like this is some silent assasin killing. It's pretty out in the open where several people are aware of it and just ignore it.

There's a big difference between Reacher killing whoever that dude was by slamming his head on the desk to kill him when the guy was zero threat to him at that time, and someone like Jason Bourne killing another assasin who's trying to kill him, or James Bond killing a bad guy who's actively trying to kill him.
Reacher is a respected military guy who's out in normal society murdering people b/c it's convenient to just get it done now instead of waiting for them to be a threat. It just seems silly to me.

So... he was real threat to Reacher. Blowing Reacher's cover could have gotten Reacher killed, therefore he needed to be killed first. It was the very definition of self defense.

Just finished watching all the episodes over the last two days. As others have said you need to suspend some belief but the season has been enjoyable, much better than season 2. When he talked with Neagly I kept waiting for Reacher to say your smart like he did in just about every episode in Season 2.

Pretty perfect finale. Nice, long foght w paulie. Don't think I would change anything about it. Nice sweatpants booty shot of Theresa at the end

Was a good finale. Little suspending of belief but I'm ok with it.
Very much enjoyed the long ridiculous fight with Paulie. Exactly what I was looking for.

It was pretty silly their reasoning they couldn't snipe paulie vs what happened after the fight made its way to the guard shack.

Not as good as the first season
Wayyyyyyy better than the second season.
Yea there may be some issues but overall i was satisfied with this season.
Hopefully next year they don't do a delayed release. Just drop all of the episodes at one time.

So far.
I am not as down on last season as others, but this one was definitely better.
The one nagging thing (that really revealed itself this episode). Kind of spoilery.
Beck has been a gun runner for some time. Has a nice collection of loaded weapons in his office. Why the frick does he not have weapons elsewhere in the house?
