‘Righteous Gemstones’ to End With Season 4 at HBO, Final Episodes to Premiere in March

Even though I love the show, 4 seasons is a good number of seasons without completely jumping the shark.

Nah. He's a fun character but we need to stop normalizing stretching everything and it's mother into a "universe" or a gazillion spin offs.
Four seasons feels about right for Righteous Gemstones. That's something McBride has done really well in recent years, knowing when to end a show before it jumps the shark. Just like Vice Principals is perfect as a two season deal.
Hoping he continues producing this kind of content.

We are all in agreement that Judy is by far the funniest character of this ensemble, correct?

4 is prob just right, if not a little too much... Could have ended with S3's finale and been perfectly fine.
Hopefully they can squeeze one more out of it and it not completely jump the shark.

Can't remember where I read or heard this at, but she apparently is given free reign to adlib. Supposedly quite a bit of shite she comes up with is off the cuff
