SAS Rogue Heroes - Amazon Prime, leaving in 7 days

I was in after the first three minutes of the first episode. Irreverent Brit humour (understated and dry), and they also had AC/DC as a backing track in the first 10m.

I have the book and have not yet read it. I didn’t know that they made a series out of it.

These MF'ers have brought Motorhead more than once in background music. You come with "Overkill" I can't call you a bad person.
In it to win it. $6 a month for this is worth it.

Thanks for the notice. I started watching it this weekend, and I’ll finish it tonight.
It’s still on Prime for 3 more days. There's only six episodes, each about an hour long, so there’s still time to catch it. The series is an Epix/MGM+ production, so I assume it will continue be available with a subscription to their platform.

Didn’t expect the ending, certainly sets up a wild second season.

Wife and I watched first 2 episodes last night, pretty funny and doing a pretty good job integrating the characters, now ready to see a little action!
I had this on our list to watch, but thanks to this thread for letting me know it was going to be removed in a few days

Only lets me watch the first 2 without a MGM+ sub.

I looked it up, and that happened.
I think they kinda go over the top with portrayals and stuff, but aren't really changing the facts of what all occurred. Case in point, the British Intel guy, I thought that was when he was introduced. Turns out, he actually did that (trying to be vague to not spoil, but you'll know what I mean).
Same thing with Alfie Allen and his letters to his girl- it went down like that.
And yes, Paddy Mayne WAS both a bit violent and crazy, AND does end up where he is at the end of this season.
Seems like the perfect story to go "all crazy" and shite onscreen, because when you do a little research, that's what really did happen.

The first episode was good enough, is this show based on real events?
Damn fine soundtrack with this show.

How is this not the only thread on here?
Half way through the second episode.
Best show I've watched in years.

I'm not good with the Search function at 10PM.

Are you in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean?

I meant my original post time from months ago. I didn't bother to search for Rogue Heroes first before creating the topic.
If I'm posting on TD, there is a close to zero chance I'm flying over any ocean.

Most airlines and cruises have WiFi

But, I was most assuredly joking.
Lighten up, Francis
