quote:That's a really good question. I've watched every episode twice, with the exception of the Gemma episode and last nights episode. I planned to watch the Gemma before, but didn't have the time, so I plan on watching both back to back again this weekend.
Do we have a timeframe of when the Gemma episode was happening as compared to "real time" events? At least when she tried to escape.
When she turned up on the severed floor as Ms Casey, at what point are we seeing Milchick at (if that makes sense). Is this happening pre-Cobel departure? Did this happen before or after the Kier paintings?
Did he have on a shirt and tie? So maybe post-Cobel. I was starting to root for him post paintings but him turning her back was just evil. I don't know about a redemption for him now.
I will definitely pay attention as to whether the Gemma "escape" attempt could have happened earlier in the timeline of the show. Maybe someone else can chime in if they noticed anything that could hint towards that.
My only thought would be that Mark's reintegration unconsciousness parallels Gemma's escape storyline and when she's breaking down in the elevator, it goes to Mark's flashback of the police arriving and then him waking up and Devon asking him where did you go? That would suggest Mark is waking up the same time Gemma is being escorted back to her room on the testing floor.

Two clues that I think support a concurrent timeline but could easily be dismissed:
1) Cold Harbor name on the Testing room
2) Milchick was called to intercept Gemma, making me think this was after Cobel’s dismissal.

He would have been called even if it was during Cobel's tenure. He did all the dirty work for her.

2. Milchick was always the enforcer, even under Cobel. Well, at least the first line of enforcement.
I'm just spitballing.

I like the idea that maybe we're seeing a different Milchick and he's still redeemable possibly, but it does seem more likely they wanted the timeline for this to be concurrent.

In the beginning of a recent episode the dentist got his tools from O&D Post-Cobel.

It’s pretty heavily implied (if not outright stated) that Gemma will be going into the Cold Harbor room soon. Recall that Drummond tells her creepy handler-guy something along the lines of “you realize she’s going to be gone soon?”
So yeah, I think the events are concurrent. Also Ms. Casey’s reaction when she comes out of the elevator seems to indicate that it happened after she got “retired” or whatever.

Reghabi mentioned that Petey didn't follow her instructions. That's why we saw Mark drinking that whatever crap and I think she was keeping him on task regarding her instructions. I worry with her gone now about Mark's health.
Don’t trust her at all. Mark hasn’t been well since she started messing with his brain.
You know, Petey got sick.

The Cold Harbor thoughts is something I’d love to hear from you guys prior to the next 2 episodes.
I don’t read any spoilers nor all the Reddit and other stuff, but like reading here and have some theories.

Damn this town is depressing

I know this episode was a plot necessity at this point, but can we just get back to the main show, and as someone pointed out a week or two ago I never realized how short these episodes were. Still a decent episode, just ready for more hell breaking loose at the office.

Damn. Does anyone have electricity in this town?

Jame Eagan is a bitch. That is all.

If you watch the scenes down on the weird Alternate MDR floor with creepy doc and Drummond, in some scenes there are four alternates..then later, there are only 3, with Irv’s missing. Pretty good clue as to timeline of Ep 7.

So Harmony is Lumon and they cheated her out of it. Totally exploited her out of the guise of their cult.

Was ready for pretty much anything to happen, but huffing ether from a dirty rag wasn't high on the list.
Maybe the ether business is an allegorical to opioids in small towns. Or just a carryover from Lumon operating an ether factory there.
And sounds like this ain't Harmony's first goat rodeo. She a frequent flyer.

Prob my least favorite episode of the season. Yes, necessary for the backstory and bomb that she invented severance, but don't feel the yearn to go back and watch again like the others.
Could just be coming off the high of last week too.

Shows how evil the company really is. There better be a big payoff in next two episodes.
