Started the final season last night. I did not see the Lisa and brother in law angle coming at the end of S4. That was intense. Nate has been through the ringer.
Brenda has surpassed Skylar White on my most hated list.
George and his bomb shelter. Hahah.
Forgot to mention about the Olivier character. Having spent alot of time in L.A. for work over the years, I run into these people alot. They suck.

The writers seem to really enjoy playing around with just how reprehensible and annoying they can make everyone without the viewer rage quitting

The scenes in S1 when Brenda's Aussie friend comes to town and Nate is high and paranoid always brings me to tears from laughing so hard. The "me" in 2001 could definitely relate when I first watched it on HBO.

Not yet, had some stuff come up for work last week. I'm on E5 now. I should finish before the weekend now.
E4 was great. Nate birthday party dinner. Billy going insane again. Him and George talking it up. Nate trying to bash a bird to death.
Claire sucks this season. Brenda started to seem normal and then she lost her shite again at the birthday party. She is just awful.

Well, I finally finished it last night. Last 3 episodes were amazing. Easily a top tier show.
And damn, that finale! I don't think I can think of a better series finale. I couldn't tell how much time was left in the episode and thought the "Here's to Nate scene" with everyone at the dinner table was going to end it.
Then they go and do the Claire driving. As someone who recently lost my father, I had to go sit outside on my backyard patio for a while after it ended. Haha
Fantastic finale.
