I think like the average lifespan of a caveman was 25 years old. And they could probably reach up to 40 years.

OK, so that means that Fred and Wilma must be of reproducing age after the premier because they have Pebbles. So, that could be 10 years old, or even less in those times. But Fred was married, could drive a car, had a job with a much older boss...and here's the kicker...was a member of the upper echelon in the community.

But then his BFF Barney, who is also in that upper echelon, and Betty have a kid in the series, right? Bam Bam. So that makes Fred and Barney in the same age group and that age group can still reproduce.

So, is Fred, like younger than I am/we are?

In the live action movie, Wilma's mother was an older lady, so I'm confident you can throw conventional wisdom out the window regarding life expectancy.

He always seemed older to me. Late 30s. His voice and face make him older. they had Pebbles a little later in life than what was usual for cavemen. Wilma had trouble getting pregnant, so they had to have medical help. Using small, soft dinosaurs, the doctor collected eggs and sperm from Fred and Wilma. Using another tiny dinosaur as a syringe, and a bigger dinosaur as a Pitre dish/incubator, the caveman doctor injected Fred's sperm into Wilma's egg. Pebbles is their miracle child.

Non-managerial position at the quarry.
Single child family, baby not walking yet.
Mother-in-law in her 50's.
Appears the same in physical appearance in flashback episodes.

I'd say that first-run Flintstones Fred was in his mid to late 20's.

Dude. Pretty common knowledge that the Flintstones was based directly on the Honeymooners.

Fred and Wilma were also the first couple to share a bed on television.

You're right.

I just searched on google scholar for "Paleolithic people lifespan" and found an abstract from Konner and Eaton (2010) with 30 to 35 years being the life expectancy.

So, I think what I said was pretty much the target if you factor in that forty years.

Which would be up to 10 years longer than your assumed average life expectancy. Does that factor in the infant mortality rate and birth rate? Because that has a large effect on average life span.
