Starz is bringing back Spartacus. Sorta. A new series called "House of Ashur".

"And what if he had been gifted the gladiator school once owned by 'Batiatus' in return for aiding the 'Romans' in killing 'Spartacus' and putting an end to the slave rebellion?..."

Bold choice. I hated that conniving mofo, which is the sign of a great villain. I guess I’m on board since we have the opportunity to see him die like a bitch twice.

Meh. If they’re gonna do a “what if…” spin off i’d much rather it be about spartacus and company winning the rebellion and taking down the romans. Crixus and naevia can stay dead though.

Every time I see that actor in another role I mumble to myself, “fricking Asher”.

ehh.... I really liked the Spartacus series and Ashur is a great villain but this really seems like a jump the shark so high you fly straight into the sun moment as it pertains to sequels and reboots.
