SPELLBINDER (1988) starring Tim Daly and Kelly Preston

A movie that centers around Satanism. The entire film is found, part by part, on youtube.
This is a movie that Preston/Travolta have basically forced off of any showings and it also never even went to dvd. Obviously, the whole Scientology deal has made them frown upon one of Preston's early works that portrays her as a witch.
Meanwhile, not a total bust of a film. It's 10 times better than "The First Power" or "Prince of Darkness" (but these were two of the worst movies of the occult/Satan of all time). Preston gets pretty much naked and ole Timothy bangs her up good. Creepy film -- especially when you're a young kid watching this on HBO in 1989. The ending was half-clever and very disturbing. It makes you feel bad and that is 10-rated pussy like Preston is willing to bang you and live with you and do anything for you, then there's likley a catch. Poor Tim.
*Slider from Top Gun appears...as do some other recognizable characters. If you're bored and wanna watch, here's link to pt 1...

If you like Preston in 1985's MISCHIEF, then you'll love her in this. She is at her pinnacle of sexiness by FAR in this movie. As hot as she was in TWINS, she is just on another level in this. She is without a doubt one of the sexiest women alive during 1988 when this was filmed.

Seriously, I was hoping I was not the ONLY person who had seen this. I am beginning to think I am. I have never met anyone IRL who has seen this movie and the damned thing was on HBO once upon a time. The dvd is apparently released in other countries, but Travolta did buy the rights to not have it shown in the United States ever again. One of the reasons that I believe Youtube is the greatest thing about the internet.

I watched it last night on Netflix instant. It's not terrible. Kelly Preston was really hot. Now she's in a cult and married to a gay guy.
A valuable life lesson! And people say movies are just trash...

I remember this movie. It wasn't bad. The ending kind of made it better.
