Legit. Just binged watched. Moved fast (no pun intended) and is very well produced.

Synopsis grabbed from cfish140’s post below:

quote:

It’s pretty much a 6 episode documentary following all the big time American and Jamaican sprinters as well as the Italian fella who won the last Olympics, and their quest for a world championship last year. The 2nd part is going to pick back up after the Olympics and will show their journey to win gold
.

I watched it the other day.

I love and hate Noah Lyles

I like the other American rival who is a farmer/cowboy from Texas

Love Gabby Thomas and cheer for Shacarri too. It was interesting to see the coaching. Jamaica has all the women sprinters and the coaches are "famous," but they sure do train in shite complexes. They somehow make it happen though.

I liked it. They are all fast AF

Binged it myself the day it came out, it’s great. It’s pretty much a 6 episode documentary following all the big time American and Jamaican sprinters as well as the Italian fella who won the last Olympics, and their quest for a world championship last year. The 2nd part is going to pick back up after the Olympics and will show their journey to win gold

Noah Lyles is kinda a douche but damn is he fast. He dominates the 200m but barely win the 100m so the 100m will be interesting in the Olympics. The women are the most interesting part though. It’s pretty much Sha’carri vs the 3 Jamaicans and it’s awesome. Gabby Thomas is the other American who runs the 200m but she’s not as fast as Shericka the Jamaican chick

SPOILERS:
Sha’Carri winning the world championship at the end of episode 5 was absolutely amazing, gave me chills. I knew that she had won it but I didn’t know that she barely qualified and ran in lane 9. Amazing stuff. Especially her coach asking as she’s walking to the race “who the fastest?”

The Italian dude blows lol. Everyone had been saying he was a 1 hit wonder winning the Olympics and they were right. He seemed like he was faking the injuries and using them as an excuse.

Also thought gabby would give Shericka a better challenge in the 200m since she had the better time in the qualifier but she got smoked. Was dissapointing

And the Herah-Thompson Jamaican chick really fricked up leaving her original trainers and using her husband as her new coach. They were hyping her to be the GOAT and she didn’t even qualify. I kinda get her beef though. They were saying they train as a team in that complex and she wanted singled out attention. I wouldn’t want to be training with high school kids if I was a gold medal winner either

Just finished it. Almost every race I thought how shitty the angles they chose were. And only one replay. Other than that, great doc

Sprinters in the US and Jamaica are usually black. Not sure what you were expecting.
