Station 19: Season 4, Episode 5 - The Dumbest Thing I’ve Ever Seen

This was on in the background at a Christmas Party last night and I happened to catch this sequence of events

Background: three black girls were kidnapped and being held in a basement - so they lit the house they were in on fire to get noticed and saved.

1. They put their COVID masks on and escaped the burning building. Then stood outside with their COVID masks on watching the building go up in flames (ensuring they social distanced). Everyone showed up with masks on.
2. The police show up, all white, none wearing masks, to help bring “control” to the situation telling the diverse fire fighters to “step aside”
4. Hilarious, liberal wet-dream, hijinks ensue. At this point, the privileged no-masking cops SIDE with the white kidnapper and attack the black girls for starting the fire even though they were told the situation
5. So the cops end up arresting the girl who was kidnapped and the black man who went into to rescue them

Recap: non-masking wearing white cops were the villains in the show, KNOWINGLY siding with a white kidnapper to arrest black kidnapping victims (who all somehow had masks on) at the end.

This was literally the dumbest and most decisive shite I have ever seen on network television. I thought, for a minute, it was so far over the top it was a parody.
