Suits (USA Network and Netflix)

My Wife and I started watching Suits based on the high ratings it received from IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes. I'm curious as to what this board's opinion is of the show.
I personally can not stand Mike Ross and Rachel. I think Mike is one of the most unlikable main characters on a hit show. He basically ruins every scene he is in.
However, my wife loves it.
Is this a show the critics got wrong or am I way off on it?

started it, couldn't finish it as it gets way too dumb and repetitive and yes mike sucks. He's either whining about some moral dilemma or freaking about getting caught

It radically changes around season 2, and becomes way more about the firm than Mike/Harvey.

I like the show for what is. It took itself way too seriously in season 4. Other than that, I really enjoy all of the back and forth banter.

I can’t wait until this show ends. It’s become shell of itself that I can barely watch it. But after watching it for years, I have to see how it ends.

I really enjoyed it for what it was and watched for a while. Don't know what season exactly, but about two years ago (I will spare you of spoilers at the expense of context) I realized nearly every scene was a crescendo to eventually both parties yelling at and threatening one another with some ridiculous conflict. It got tiresome.

Show was at its best when people were getting "litt up". Now, much like Louis, the show is a shell of its former self.
Also, I don't think I have watched a show that is based off of more misunderstandings than this one. every week something happens because apparently their is no direct communications in that firm until something happens.
