Season 1 is.
Season 2 less so.
Season 3 went woke and shite the bed.
But I will say, I was going through one of the most stressful times in my life back in 2022. One of the lines from the show hit me like a hammer, and really helped me to make it through the shite I was dealing with.
The line: “Doing the right thing is never the wrong thing”.
I’ll be forever grateful for that line.

Season 3 was a fricking disaster.

Yep.

Season 3 was easily the weakest and had too many side storylines that meant nothing. I will say the last couple of episodes did feel more like Season 1 inspirational Ted Lasso. Rebecca laying into the Super League proposal for example.

Season 3 felt like a soft run for the show without ted
but I enjooyes all 3 season.

Season 3 was a mess but the last couple episodes may have been some of the best of the series imo

Season one. Episode 8 “The Diamond Dogs”
The whole darts game scene. “Be curious, not judgmental.”
Really hits home.

Lasso never coaches. He throws ideas out to the team and let's others decide. In one episode the players literally coached themselves.
And Season 3 was definitely preachy with wokeness.

Season 1? Absolutely
Season 2? Still pretty good
Season 3? What in the ever loving hell was that garbage that they tried to pass off as Ted Lasso?

I stopped after a few episodes in S3. Don't even remember the woke stuff but just stopped because it wasn't good in general.
Also, just Ted Lasso as a coach became insufferable. I mean at some point you need to actually care about learning the sport you're coaching. You're a HC in the most premiere sporting league in the world, and for years now you don't put forth any effort into the game and just say "rootin tootin Vladimir Putin" and "zippity do da sweet molases sasafrasis" saying non stop. That gets old.Got to the point to where I just genuinely disliked him as a coach.

yeah, I did think it rallied at the end to be more like the show we all loved from the beginning. They just can't help themselves, once shows get really popular they get a bit cocky and feel it their obligation to lecture us and tell us the way we should live and what we should accept.
Entertain us don't preach to us.

Yeah, and what makes it worse is that they spent so much time on the preachy stuff that they didn’t have time to flesh out other possible feel good storylines (Jamie and his dad’s reconciliation, Nate’s redemption). Instead they had to speed run all that.

It was a good series for Covid but I watch it now and it’s so cringe

Just that you do the right thing. The rest doesn't matter. Cold or warm. Tired or well-rested. Despised or honored.

Nate's redemption arc was absolutely truncated and the show was worse for it.
Keeley's Wacky Adventures in Scissorland was totally unnecessary pandering to the Alphabet People. (And for those who will sit in the cheap seats and throw stale popcorn, I didn't have an issue with Colin's & Trent's reveals. I thought those were very thoughtful and well done).
The Amsterdam episode was the high point of S3, outside of the finale.

I don’t get Juno Temple as some hot sex bomb. I think she is really weird looking.

All in all, I think English women in general are usually weird looking. That's what made unicorns like Kate Beckinsale so amazing... until she lost her mind and plastic surgeried herself unrecognizable.
