That Dirty Black Bag

I did a free trial of AMC+ after finishing this latest season of Dark Winds. It seems like they’re the only people making westerns worth watching anymore
That Dirty Black Bag won’t get as good reviews as Dark Winds, but if you like bloody spaghetti westerns, I highly recommend it.
A couple of the subplots are lame, with not great actors in those sections, but the main story is awesome and has several good actors. Also the writers and director are Italian, which very much shows. Anyone familiar with Sergio Leone is going to recognize homages throughout the show.
IMDB Page
Throw-in: AMC also has a mini series called The North Water that I thought was great. Not a western, at least I’m the traditional sense. The main guy and Colin Farrell are really good in it

I loved Dark Winds. Tried The Dirty Black Bag but just couldn’t get into it. Quit after a couple episodes. Might go back and try it again

I nearly quit after one episode that followed the whorehouse/dry farmland subplot too heavily. Aside from the main story and backstory of the three main characters (Brothers and Bill), the show does have a hefty amount of lame elements. The good was enough to keep me interested though, and I think there is enough there for the show to improve in future seasons.
I also did appreciate all of the Leone homages. From the fly caught in a gun barrel in the opening moment of the show onward it's dripping with references. Directors doing things like that usuaully always works with me

Bringing this back up as it hit Netflix recently. Although cheesy at points we watched it in 3 nights. Not bad, but the ending will for sure have more seasons? BUT when. I did not find anything on IMDB about it. Anyone know?
