Might be the worst movie I have ever seen. My wife walked out after the first half hour and watched the end of another movie instead. No plot. No jokes. Just McC doing a stoner for 90 minutes.

It’s a journey/metamorphosis story. Very disjointed and has no real focus. Sort of like a beach bum, I suppose. Unless you have a couple of hours to burn, it’s not worth the watch. I could go into dissecting it, but it’s not really worth the time.
Disappointed...
Edit: I know this is a strange comment to make, but I wonder if a better film was left in the edit room floor. It seemed like the project could have been great, but completely lost its way.

I’m a sucker for movies like this. Free spirit, non-conformist living it up high on life and drugs. Kinda like how I absolutely love Surfer, Dude which has a 0% on RT lol. I know I’ll end up liking it as bad as it may be

It was almost listless, which is a shame because I think there was a great story there. Maybe the true intent of the pacing was to capture a beach bum, but it didn’t deliver. Korine is a talented director. I would like to hear his thoughts and glean some more insight.
