Anyone watching this. I'm binging series as I recover from a bout of the RSV.
This one has been pretty decent. Taiwanese gangster film blended with fish out of water. Triad bosses son goes to LA to find his brother and mother after his father was shot.
Michelle Yeoh is one of the leads.
Fight choreography is fair. Acting is good. It's mostly in English with Mandarin sprinkled in for effect.

Y'all should really watch this. There are a few continuity missteps in the first 3 episodes, but they tie things together nicely.

I think Justin Chien (Charles) is going to end up being a pretty big star. He's got strong screen presence, checks Hollywood boxes, speaks perfect English, is a pretty good actor and a legit martial artist (Muay Thai, Jiujitsu and Judo). If he gets a good bump off this series, we will see him in a lot of stuff going forward.
ETA: Here's his IMDB. He's been in nothing before this. Looks like they just plucked him out of nowhere, and he did a damn good job.

Me too. Filming on location in Tapei might be cost prohibitive and they'll have to work around Yeoh's schedule.

It's a quality show. The humor comes out of nowhere and the tone is satisfying. The homage to Jurassic Park when the dinosaurs attack made me gut laugh.
