The Call *spoiler alert*

So I saw this movie. The first two acts are kind of "meh" but the third act really went out of its way to attempt to claim the title "Worst Movie Ending of All-Time." It failed to hit that mark but I think it came pretty close.
Halle Berry plays a 911 operator who spends most of the movie talking on the phone to a kidnap victim (Abigail Breslin). In the third act, Halle decides she's Rambo and goes out looking for the kidnapper/serial killer and Abigail Breslin. What follows is a blatant (and horrible) rip-off of Silence of the Lambs, followed by one of the most illogical endings ever put to film.
After rescuing Abigail Breslin, Halle Berry chains the serial killer up, leaves him in his trap door basement to die, and escapes with Abigail Breslin. Berry promptly tells the police that Breslin had escaped and that she (meaning Halle Berry) had found her in a nearby forest.
If I'm a cop, this raises two important questions that I am going to ask:
1) Why are you, a 911 Operator, out here doing the police's job?
2) Where did she escape from?
This is where the fib would fall apart. And even if Breslin lied and said she couldn't remember where she escaped from, I'm sure the cops would search a radius of several miles from where she was found and would eventually happen upon the killer's cabin, where they would find the killer chained up in his trap door basement. Halle Berry would then go to jail for attempted murder.
And did I mention that what Halle Berry pulls in the third act goes completely against her character? The first two acts built her character up as being some by-the-book 911 operator. And then, with no explanation whatsoever, she decides to drop this moniker by going out into the field on her own to find the killer and Abigail Breslin.
What this movie boils down to is girl power. It's feminist trash, most especially the third act, and I recommend you all stay as far away from it as possible.
Final Grade: D

I work with law enforcement and the idea that any of our 911 operators would ever attempt to do this is beyond absurd. I roll my eyes every time I see a commercial for it.

What a lazy, piece of shite movie..
The trailer literally revealed everything about this film except for that part about leaving him chained up in the basement. When I saw that she had set out to rescue the girl herself, that's when I knew that I was never even going to waste a redbox dollar on this one.

WWE was credited in this film, what did you expect?

What does that mean? WWE made it? Well, yeah. That would explain a lot.

And I heard if you stay until after the credits it goes to the part where the killer is chained in the basement and then the lights go out.
Jim Ross, off camera, scream "My gahhhhd, King! It's the Undertaker!"
