The Critters movie series. Better than I remember (red letter review)

YouTube recommended Critters the other day. It had been years since I seen it and I had the plots of the first three all mixed together.
Red Letter Media discusses Critters
I also mixed up Ghoulies a lot, though I forgot how Gremlin like the Krites were. By the second and especially the 3rd they became very comedic. Like a more messed up Gremlins that just wants to constantly feed.
Not an award winning movie series but the third one, which was direct to VHS does star Leonardo DiCaprio.
They funny take themselves too seriously but the alien bounty hunters who can shift into anything including nude Playmates are bad arse.
The 4th one was dumb and ruined Ugg.
I just found out there was a 5th one made just a few years ago with only the mom from the first one in it. (She was also Elliots mom in ET)
IF you want some 80's nostalgia these are all on YouTube for free.
(Synopsis. Space porcupines steal break out of space prison and are pursued by shape-shifting bounty hunters on Earth)

I don’t remember much about them except for the hot chick character in your gif, and one of them fricking me up for a while when the critter attacked that old man (I think?) from inside his toilet.

That was Ghoulies that attacked through toilets.
I mix them up too. And Munchies.

Critters was awesome. The others were just okay.

First one is awesome.
The quintessential Saturday afternoon in 1994 movie.

I’ve only ever seen the first one, and that was 17 billion years ago.
Would like to rewatch it.

I agree with Red Letter that the second is the one people remember more. I think it was one of the movies always on HBO, like The Gate.
Red Letter says skip 3 and 4. 3 isn't that bad 4 is horrible and last night I tried 5 and it was a SyFy movie level and horrible.
I would say don't bother with 4 and 5. 1 and 2 are worth watching.

The Gate.
YES! Another movie from my childhood that I’ve completely forgotten about.

When that eyeball appeared in his hand and he later had to stab it, gave me chills.
