So after we watched Worth last night, this show popped up. Post WW2 Berlin. Taylor Kitsch plays a NYPD Brooklyn detective sent to the American sector to help organize the local police. Subterfuge ensues.......watched the first 3. Not too bad.

I've watched the first two episodes. I really like the scenario. Although the state-level intrigue is the main thing, I don't remember seeing any other TV show where the setting is the desperation of a devastated post-war city.

Same here - its interesting to see that setting. It was definitely an unpleasant place to be and unfortunately as is sometimes the case, history has swept a good bit of it under the rug......depending on the veracity of course.

I liked it, though Kitsch sounds more like he's from Boston than NY.

I haven’t seen Kitsch since the Wolverine movie. Damn, he has arrived. He’s flawless and I don’t use that lightly.

Great show so far.

This show is very impressive. There isn’t one scene that is wasted or one line or moment that falls flat.

I was going to start a thread on this a few days ago because it hadn't been brought up to the board but I forgot.

I loved it. I hope there is a second season. Loved the setting.
If I had to find something wrong it was that Kitsch's accent was hit or miss.

S1E8 - Damn Hollywood…you ALWAYS pick up a rifle over a damn pistol. Not a spoiler obviously.

his is almost as good as Babylon Berlin which was post World War I Berlin.
