i thought this went without saying, but damn this movie is great even though i've seen it like 7 times.
apparently everyone hasnt already seen it so if anyone hasnt please check this movie out. Leo is fricking amazing in it but Wahlberg is awesome as well

Just watched again. Was my favorite movie for like 5 years.
I can't think of a single reason I didn't like that movie.

The base of the story with the multiple informants on both sides makes it great entertainment. Directing, great acting, and music are A+. But my philosophy is that the storyline and characters are everything.

The Departed is so good that Scorsese could put the title card twenty minutes into the film and no one GAF.

It's fantastic. Monohan really deserved the Oscar, but they've been running it on basic cable for a while, either AMC or one of the Turner channels.

I didn't care for Vera Farmiga in that one, but I'm not a huge fan of hers overall. She was obviously great in Bates Motel though.

You're right 3 was too few. Should have been more Dropkick Murphys.
