I understand this wasn’t one of Eddie Murphy’s best, but it wasn’t SO bad that it deserves a 13% on Rotten Tomatoes and has essentially been completely erased from history. It’s not available for streaming on ANY platform and you never hear anyone talk about it.

Definitely wasn't terrible, I liked it. Hell, Boomerang has just now been playing more.

The first 2/3 is pretty funny but when he predictably turns into a good guy, it loses steam.

I love this movie. It still holds up even with the cheesy bits.

I know a guy named Jeff Johnson. I don't think he's seen the movie because I always call him "the name you know" and he doesn't seem to get it.

He's about 48, so he should get the reference.
