i always thought Anaconda had the best future star cast of its day, but this movie has everyone. I'd forgotten how many huge future stars were in this.
Jordana Brewster before F&F
josh Hartnett before his bigger roles
clea duvall before her biggest roles
laura harris who was in pretty much everything
salma hayek as the nurse
famke janssen as the mousy, yet horny teacher
elija wood before frodo
usher
jon stewart before the daily show
throw in bebe newirth, robert patrick from the terminator, piper laurie and christopher mcdonald for good measure. pound for pound, it's right up there with The Longest Day, but doesn't seem to get much play, except maybe during Halloween.

The homemade adderall (maybe meth shite) that killed the aliens. 
One of my all time favorites scenes as a kid was when he pulled the blade off the paper cutter. Id always look at them at school and be like, "this shite isn't even shard how tf is he gonna cut up aliens."
Also, have Davie from the Sopranos.
ETA: O/U on when the remake will come out? This was a great 90s horror film so its only a matter of time I guess until we get a remake.

The GOAT movie for this is Black Hawk Down. It’s insane, there are like 30+ actors in it that later go on to bigger/well known roles.

that's definitely another good one, but i think a lot more of those guys like sizemore and hartnett were already well-known, and others like piven were hollywood mainstays. still some great future stars for sure, though.
