They originally tried to get Sharon Stone for that role but she turned it down. I'm sure if they made that movie today they would find a part for The Rock.

This movie is so bad 
like who is the audience supposed to be? Is it kids? Is it adults?
That being said, I watched the shite out of the VHS growing up. Will always hold a special place for being an enjoyably bad movie
