I spelled it here how it's pronounced, although I do know the correct spelling.

When you read the book you can tell the authors intent. The greasers are the tough hard working baws and represent Baton Rouge while the effeminate whiny socs represent New Orleans

I'll make it fast.

Rob Lowe told a story about how Tom Cruise, even back then thought really highly of himself, even though he had one of the smaller parts in the movie and was not yet an established star.

The entire cast, for whatever reason had to stay at some swanky New York Hotel during filming. Well they all had to have roommates and Lowe was to room with Cruise.

Well according to Lowe, Cruise pitched a fricking fit over having to room with someone, believing he would end up being a bigger star than any of them. I forget if he got his own room or not.

If that's the kind of attitude you must have to make a movie like Top Gun Maverick.. I'm perfectly fine with it.
