I watched it when it first came out (on AMC I believe) and decided to do a re-watch….very good show, but man it got dark at the end. Isolation and starvation will bring out the very worst in human nature.

I absolutely LOVED the first season of that show. Those were fun threads back then.

Was the second season even worth watching? I remember being excited about it and literally lost interest before the first episode was over, so I gave up on it.

But man, that first season was excellent.

Wait a minute, there’s a Season 2? Which platform? I literally didn’t even know…

ETA; I just saw it’s available on Prime. Sometimes I like to pretend google doesn’t exist and just ask questions here…..anyway, the reviews for Season 2 are brutal.

Yeah, but that's not even what turned me off I don't think. S2 is a completely different setting and completely different story. And I don't know, I guess it just didn't resonate with me for whatever reason.

And thinking back, I think I may have watched the first episode and a half or so. I remember being underwhelmed by the first episode and then checking out shortly thereafter. I guess just the story and the setting of the first one had me interested, so once that changed I lost focus and wasn't as into it. That's why I'm wondering if anybody stuck it out for S2 and if it was any good. I'd be down to watch it if I heard good things, I just don't ever recall hearing any.

Definitely one of the bleakest shows I've ever watched. Just brutal. But the story, filmmaking, suspense, and acting were all superb. Some very quality TV.

The set up of the story I would say is really good but a little more than halfway through was losing any purpose to it and the ending lacked any satisfaction.

The first season; I didn't even know there was a 2nd season and really have no interest.

I liked the second season well enough but it was a completely different kind of show and I think it actually hurt it to slap "The Terror" name onto it as if it had been part of a planned horror anthology series.

The show was somewhat based on a true story. Loved the first season. Hated the second
