She cannot carry a show. She was funny to laugh at in VEEP. Inventing Anna, she was awful and cringeworthy.

It's a slow burn.
The kids start out gay and are convinced they are trans. The proximal cause of the deaths are suicides (years later) but the root cause of ruination is well intended ideological idiocy.
More of a group tragedy really.
