20th Century Fox wanted Danzig for Wolverine. He was the right height and build.

I heard those rumors at the time but I don't think they were true. Sounds more like wishful dreaming. Dougray Scott was up for the role but turned it down for Mission Impossible 2.

don’t think he turned it down, the filming got on MI got delayed because cruise got hurt or some shite, so they had to recast

by up for it .... they mean the studio kindly allowed Danzig's agency to send him in to read for it. So technically he was "up for it".
