If you enjoyed Dark so much that you powered through the German dub with english subtitles, then congratulations on having fantastic taste.
I loved the atmosphere, mystery, dark serious tone, and the subject matter....can anyone recommend me shows that i should like based on this criteria? it doesn't have to be a psychological thriller like Dark, but it needs to be high quality and non-woke please.
I am aware of 1899 already (created by same producers) so please don't recommend that one.

Counterpart. It was originally on showtime so you may need the subscription as part of Amazon or paramount. It got cancelled after season 2 but it ties up enough plot lines that it can be viewed as an open-ended ending. JK Simmons is the main actor.

12 Monkeys, the TV show (on hulu), is a really underappreciated scifi time travel show from the mid-20teens. It has 4 seasons and while I'm sure there are plot holes if you dig deep enough, it's a well mapped out time travel show that seems like they knew where they were taking it from the beginning.

The Devil's Hour (Prime)
Castle Rock (Hulu)
Curon (Netlifx) (not great, but okay)
Equinox (Netflix)
Katla (Netflix)
Black Spot (Netflix)
I'm just going to keep recommending Black Spot until someone actually watches it. It's damn good!
ETA: From (MGM+)

12 Monkeys is a great series in the time travel area, really enjoyed it. Strongly suggest as a 'related to Dark' type of show.

Constellation on Apple TV. It’s a new show about an astronaut that was aboard the space station when an experiment went wrong. Different timelines going on and even a little conspiracy theory regarding space travel.

KDrama Sisyphus. On Netflix if I remember correctly.

12 Monkeys
ignoring the obvious problem with time travel plots, it has a compelling storyline with terrific character development and a fantastic cast

Apple’s “Constellation” fits in the “Dark” cubbyhole perfectly, in my opinion. I am thoroughly enjoying it right now.

Apparently this show ends on a cliffhanger because the 3rd season got cancelled….no thanks.
It’s not fun without closure

Bodies on Netflix was pretty good. I’ve heard The Signal is good but haven’t watched it yet.

OP I have something that can scratch that itch for you. Like Dark I sometimes still think about the subject matter.
Tales From the Loop on Amazon Video
If Dark gets a 10/10 I gives this show an 8.5/10.
It’s a great watch.

1899 on Netflix, from some of the same team as Dark.
Unfortunately it got cancelled after 1 season, but it moves a lot faster than Dark and the first season is self-contained enough that it's worth watching.

Thanks, but I mentioned in the first post that I’ve already watched it
