Never really see this show discussed much anymore. Curious what others think of the finale. I understand Jay being pissed at Pope for his mother but why the other 2 brothers. They were way too young to have been able to do anything that would have helped his mother.

They all probably deserved to pay for their lifetime of crimes but was does Jay get to get away Scott free with all the money. He ruined peoples lives as well.
I mean hell in the last episode he murders an innocent woman.

I would have rather seen Pope and Jay both die. Pope was broken and their was no redemption for him. By the end Jay was broken as well also without a chance at redemption. But I would like to have seen Craig make it to where REM and Nick were and for Darren to find his old flame in Taiwan. They may have been criminals but they weren’t broken homicidal maniacs like Pope and Jay.

Lastly…Popes character and the dude that played him were tremendous. Not sure if he won any awards during the show run but he should have.

Ehh, Craig and Deran were kids when Julia was kicked out the first time, but as we saw tonight, when she came back pregnant and strungout they were older. Not grown, but old enough to know their sister needed help. (Didn't make sense if she was pregnant with Baz's kid, since were led to believe she hadn't seen Baz since being kicked out but he was supposedly the father, so how had Craig and Deran aged 5-6 years in less than a year?)

All 4 brothers could've stuck up for her and stood up to Smurf, but they didn't say shite.

I didn't have a problem with the way it ended. Did surprise me that J killed his GF, but it's not like him getting out alive with the money was some great resolution for him. He was alone in the end, just like his mom was.

The one thing the ending made me feel, was that in hindsight, Smurf got off way too easy. She should've suffered for the shite she did to Julia. If J had done to Smurf, what he did to Deran and Craig, it would've made alot more sense and been easier to pull for J.

They needed to be able to make the sequel where J goes back to robbing people in Thailand while Deran and Ren try to find him and kill him
