I think most people thought it looked good but lacked consequential/main characters. Interesting that the first trailers showed a sense of humor and fun and this one was pretty serious. Has a good chance to be the best thing that Marvel does in 2025.

This is the type of Marvel movie I'd see in the theater. The other overproduced shite with reboots and sequels is worn out so bad.

I want to like this. I really do. I even want to see this.

However, I realize Disney is making this and it will be gay so, for that reason I am sitting this one out unless I hear otherwise.

I was able to day play a lot on this one and I think it's going to surprise a lot of people.

Florence Pugh just doesn't do it for me.

I liked the trailer. Looks decent enough. I like The Winter Soldier as a character and I think Sebastian Stan plays it very well. Who is the bad guy supposed to be in this?

Is there anything I need to see since Endgame before seeing this? Black Widow, Hawkeye and the Spidermen is all I’ve got.

She's no ScarJo, for sure.

These are all I'd probably suggest, and even then Hawkeye wouldn't really be totally necessary as you can understand Yelena's character just from Black Widow. Hawkeye is a decent enough show though.

Technically you'd want to watch Falcon and Winter Soldier to understand the John Walker character, but that show sucks so I would suggest just reading a synopsis of the show and maybe watch a clip of Dreyfuss recruiting him.

The way Disney is marketing this movie makes me think they really feel they have something good on their hands, but it's going to have to survive on the word of mouth because I don't think a ton of people will be looking to see this on opening weekend.

The Void is the villiam in this one? They are all going to die within a minute.

The previews are well done but the movie is populated by marginal characters that I don't have much interest in

They shouldn’t be able to defeat either Void or Sentry. I’m guessing Sentry gets his shite together at the end considering he’s in Doomsday.

Seeing The Sentry/void dynamic is really the only thing that makes me interested

To be fair... so was The Guardians of the Galaxy when it came out.

Yeah, I don't get this at all. How are they defeating a guy that's basically making swaths of people disappear?
