It was interesting to see those dynamics from early age through high school.
Can you imagine him going on Oprah and claiming the race he did in today's climate.

I’m watching this now. I think it’s pretty solid overall

He does good golf. His ex wife doesn't like him. He banged Waffle House chicks
The end
The end

What’s up with this? I’m out of the loop. His books The System (College Football) and The Dynasty (NE Patriots) were great. Was looking forward to reading his book on Tiger.

Just watched part 1. I’m no golf fan and all I know about Tiger is that he was damn good at golf and he got arrested some years back and it was all over the news, so that first ep was pretty enjoyable to me not knowing any of that beforehand

If that's all you know then episode 2 is going to be a wild ride for you.
Watching this also reminded me of how hot his wife is. If she's looking for a guy who can't break par, isn't famous and will definitely not be getting any better offers so cheating is off the table... I'd love to let her take me to dinner.

Pretty sure she’s remarried to another billionaire

Not sure why Tigers first ex girlfriend needed to offer her opinion on everything or was given so much air time.
Because they were together for 3 years during a pivotal time in his life? And the circumstances of their breakup is part and parcel of the dysfunctional relationship between he and his father which is related to his future issues.

I mean, Really?

Not all the way through part 2 but it reaffirms that paparazzi are some of the lowest forms of life on The planet.

Man frick these motherfrickers. Bow tie wearing piece of shite from the fricking NATIONAL ENQUIRER??? Took her tampon as blackmail to force him into doing whatever they wanted?
frick the media.
frick the media.

Agreed these media guys are pure scum. The tampon incident happened in 2007 I think. Then they tracked and followed him for two whole years waiting for him to mess up just one time. Followed so close they got on the elevator with the Uchatel girl.
That’s fricking insane

I never understood why Tiger caught so much shite for cheating on his wife? Sure he had a squeaky clean image, but cheating happens all the time. Am I saying its right no, but to have to call a press conference and for Nike to put out a commercial with a voice over of his father, who was also a well known philanderer, was insane.

The media is pure poison, top to bottom. Those people shouting crap at Elin while she carried her child and the National Enquirer stuff was sick

Yeah that made me sick watching it.
A lot of people said this felt like a hit piece, but I don’t see it. Maybe it was on Earl, but the fact is he exposed Tiger to that world at a very young age and like they said, he built a machine and left out the human part. Then when Earl died, Tiger was lost because the machine builder was gone. I thought this was a dive into the psyche that drives some of these goat level athletes and what they have to do to get through life. I especially liked the family friend at the end saying it was BS that the same people who jumped on Tiger were now talking like Tiger was a different man and virtuous now. He was and is, human. I enjoyed it.
My biggest takeaway is this country’s absolute addiction to schadenfreude.

If it was supposed to be a hit piece, what more would you expect to see that you didn't see in this?

Why did I have to watch 30 minutes about him breaking up with his high school sweetheart Once they got in a long distance relationship in college? Is there is something wrong with that?

Am I supposed to feel better that he won the masters after all this
They could’ve gone much more in depth with the hookers
The view tv show disparaging those women on the view was cringeworthy imagine if they did that today
Jordan and Barkley were players too!
They didn’t show that on the last dance

The only part I didn't like was fricking Bryant Gumbel. We've established he's a person of color, we got it, and they had moved past it and were really getting into Tiger the person and what really was going on with these girls, then up pops Bryant Gumbel again with his "bringing the black man down" shite. Obviously this esteemed member of the prestigious media has decided Tiger is simply black and the rest of his heritage doesn't matter

The Steve Williams thing got to me. I'm sure there is more to the story but that is pretty sad they don't talk at all. Best man in his wedding, that hurts.
I think I've heard Williams is also a pretty well known dick, so who knows.
Gumbel was a little ridiculous. Tiger is more or less universally loved, the whole thing of so many people "wanting to see him fall" is ridiculous. Tiger brought everything on himself and was welcomed back with open arms.
The Master's crucifying him was BS though. I forgot about that.
Also crazy this all happened 11 years ago, my memory is very jogged getting old. I was in college and could have sworn all this stuff happened in like 2012-2013. He was trash for a long time before winning the Masters.
