Mrs. ClusterCock and I are looking for a new series to watch. Just finished Sneaky Pete and Bosch was listed as "something might like".
We really liked Sneaky Pete and looking for suggestions.
Thanks

I really enjoyed it but I had to stick with it. Started it a few years ago and watched an episode and didn’t watch another for a couple years and then I stuck with it and was hooked after season 1.

Loved Bosch. Binged the whole thing and then the sequel series

Not the greatest show ever but very very solid and consistently so. Definitely worth a watch.

Bosch is incredibly underrated. I think it was one of the best series during its time, and I highly recommend it. It's not the typical cop drama, which I find annoying.
With that said I was not very impressed with the new series that released last year (which is a continuation of sorts for the one that ended on Amazon). It's an average one that made me unsure if I will watch the next one when it releases.
Definitely watch the original run though.

How accurately do they follow the books? The author said:
That makes me feel like they are taking liberties with the book story lines. Concrete Blonde and The Last Coyote are both really good books. I think the books also cover like 25 years so there is that problem too.

Q: How do your books relate to the Bosch TV series?
The show is based on the protagonist of the books, and we take plot lines from multiple books and entwine them to reveal and show everything that made Harry Bosch the man he is. I think it is a very accurate take on the character and the books, and I really hope Harry’s fans enjoy it.

It’s really good noir type tv. Couldn’t get into Bosch Legacy though, might give it another try later.
Also imagine any fan of Sneaky Pete would be into heist shows like Leverage and comedic espionage like Patriot or Slow Horses.

A Bosch/Reacher crossover would be great

Bosch is one of the top 10 best TV shows of all time. May even be in my top 5.
