Wife and I started watching this last week (we used to be wrestling fans). Show started out on Starz, and Netflix has bought the rights to it. Show was excellent and would recommend.

Are they going to finish it or just bought the rights to show what was completed

I think they have discussed if there is enough interest/views Netflix doing a final season.

it's been discussed that if this does well, Netflix would pick it up for a 3rd season.

Just finished this. Really liked it. Really hope they renew for a season 3. Cliffhanger to season 2 killing me

If that's the case I'll run it every day while I'm at work. I need some closure, dammit!

Brilliant show.
I don't understand how shite like "Real Housewives of Baton Rouge" has 20 seasons and they cancel everything that's good after 1-2 seasons.
It's one thing to not renew, if it's the end of a story, but if it's good and has decent ratings, at least let us get closure with one final episode.

In this instance, the problem is that it was on Starz. It didn't have a huge budget, but Starz doesn't have a lot of viewers. If it had been on Netflix, Prime or HBO from the start it would have had no problem getting renewed.

It doesn't cost a lot of money for women to sit around and talk.

I think it's a bit of what we saw when Fox was trying to get its fledgling broadcast network off the ground. They were desperate for content to air so they gave chances to thinks like In Living Color, Cops, X-Files, Spiderman & X-Men cartoons, Simpsons, etc. Looking back on their success it's difficult to square that shows like those (not all, but many) were on Fox only because no other networks would touch them.
He hasn't been able to get a Whedon-like breakthrough yet so he's still stuck trying to sell the fruits of his labors on the roadside in the media boonies.
