Dwight Yoakam as Raoul in Panic Room. He was delightfully unhinged.
Also enjoyed Nic Cage and John Travolta as Castor Troy in Face/Off. Both were consuming the landscape, but it was clear they were having a blast.
But my favorite movie villain is probably Jeremy Irons as Scar. He had a point. He had a backstory. And he understood the assignment.

That was such a strange movie and Robin Williams was perfect in that role. Seems to have been forgotten, sadly.
