Watched it last night on Hulu, for first time in maybe 8 years.
Shouldn't Sissy have been arrested for being the driver of the getaway car while Wes committed armed robbery in Gilley's?

Isn't that the same thing that got Dog the Bounty Hunter thrown in prison in Texas? Just being an accessory, unknowingly or not, should have gotten Sissy in the slammer.

Who knows, she probably would have gotten in trouble if they had left. Would've made for a bad ending for the movie though.

Wes was gonna win that rodeo that night. Figured that would be enough cash to get them deep into Mexico. He couldn’t get no job round there noplace.
After Wes done lost the rodeo to Bud he probably done told her to wait in the car and nuttin else.
