Last Kingdom was good all the way through. The finale was outstanding.
Vikings was really good until a certain point (it is a spoiler, so I don't want to sat it), then it starts to fall off. Still need to finish the series.
Tried Black Sails, but haven't been able to get into it. I'll probably try again.
Never heard of Hell on Wheels.

Only watched last kingdom and Vikings.
Last kingdom is fantastic. Everyone loves it that I recommend it to.

Vikings is up there with my favorite series’ of all time, and I still YouTube clips from it all the time. I still thought it was great after the big mid series event that turned a lot of people off and enjoyed it all the way through and thought the ending was perfect. Be warned though, it’s a very long series with 20 episodes a season starting with season 3. A lot get burned out and don’t finish. It took me 2 tries to get fully sucked in

Black sails is awesome and is short at only 4 seasons. A couple people I know didn’t finish and thought it was to slow. It has a lot going on in it and requires a lot of attention but is wel worth it. Also has some of the most beautiful women ever in a series

Loved the Last Kingdom. Read all the Saxon Tale books, too. Utred lives through a compressed timeline of actual events.
Vikings was great until the show transitioned to Ragnar’s son. It wasn’t terrible, but what the show did to Ivar ruined the last couple seasons for me.
Black Sails is fantastic, but other than using actual historical pirate names and places, it’s not very historical. More of a period piece. It’s actually an Adult version of a prequel to Treasure Island.
Highly recommend all three.

Black Sails is a M/TV board favorite, and deservingly so.

I watched Last Kingdom all the way through and enjoyed it a lot. I've read all the books and the show holds up well in comparison.
I watched the first season or two of Vikings. Those were pretty good, but I lost interest as it went along. Not saying it turned bad, just that it didn't keep my particular interest.
Didn't see Black Sails yet.
Caught a few random episodes of Hell on Wheels. I thought it was ok, but not something I was motivated to watch the entire thing. (For comparison, when I saw an episode of Deadwood, I went back and watched the entire thing).

I was into Hell on Wells until a certain character was killed off(left) then I stopped watching.

Last Kingdom is very good, and pretty solid all the way through.
Vikings was better than Last Kingdom the first 4 seasons, but dropped off in quality after the 4th season. Still good, just not as good.
Black Sails, if you can make it through the first 3 or 4 episodes, is spectacular. Some of the best writing, dialogue, and storytelling in television. Top notch all 4 seasons.
Hell on Wheels just never got into.

Most people here love Black Sails but I didn't, not enough pirate/action stuff for me.

Just so well written, the scenery and sets were incredible, brilliant pacing, fantastic actors. You get emotionally invested in the characters and the relationships.
Can't wait for the movie to come out. DESTINY IS ALL

only one ive seen is vikings.
i loved vikings until a certain season and story point. it worth the watch up till there. it falls off shortly after that. i didnt finish the final season.
but i do think its worth it up until that point.
