Just watched this movie and it really is an incredible piece of work.

Anyway, after Lester is shot, what do you think happens? Do you think the police are ever able to pin the murder to Ricky's dad or do you think it gets pinned on his wife?

I assume he turns the gun on himself after killing Spacey.

They cut out a scene in the beginning and the end that showed the trial of his daughter and her boyfriend after the General framed them for the murder

According to the commentary Ricky and Lester's daughter go down for the murder, it was shot but deleted.

Well hell, I didn't know that. Interesting.

Just read that they had another story of Ricky's dad having a gay lover in Vietnam who was killed.

I'm glad they cut out this part of the film. Completely takes the shock out of the garage scene

Same here. That took me completely off guard. I'm also glad they took out the trial scene. Just doesn't fit with the movie or the message it tries to convey.

Lester is a pussy for not fricking that smoking hot cheerleader when she was naked on the bed and wanting it!

He didn't want virgin blood all over his 4,000 dollar couch

ETA in the original screenplay Lester does frick her fwiw.

Him saying no to her, is better for the story though

No, he was supposed to die happy and that would have mad him truly happy IMO. I don't care if she was only in Seventeen once, and looked fat in it, she was sexy as hell and deserves some cum in her!

And think of the special memory she would have had for the rest of her life, of losing her virginity to her best freind's dad right before he was murdered by a gay neighbor.

Does that shiny red sports car you buy because of a midlife crisis really make you happy? Or is it a cry for help?

Of course not. I think he died happy in the movie because he finally started living like the way he wanted, which should have included banging the young hottie.

Its not, its just an attempt at happiness from a material item.
